Website Adoptions... « Thread Started on May 10, 2005, 7:12pm »
As some of you know I run the adoptions at Amnezia on a first come first served basis. I mark off all petz as adopted as soon as I send them out. I update adoptions as they are adopted on a regular basis so you should be able to see which petz are listed as already adopted. The only reason you may not see this is if you need to refresh the pages to see any updates I have made, that is why it's important you refresh often and double check that the pet you want isn't already adopted.
It isn't nice when I get mails like this in my Inbox:
"you don't have a very good way to tell that. i wont reccomend YOUR crummmy site to anyone. Maybe worthwhile ones, but not yours"
Amnezia has at least 50 visitors every day, sometimes more than 100. Each day I get on average about 10 adoption forms sent to me. No sooner do I put litters up are they almost all gone. I simply cannot submit enough petz up for adoption for every visitor... that would mean I would have to breed petz every day! I cannot keep up with that, I have a life outside of the Internet too! Some of you may not understand how hard it is to run a site of such scale as Amnezia, it isn't easy.
So I guess.. if you don't get the pet you want then don't send me nasty emails back! There aren't enough petz to go round all the time but I do try my best.
In the case of this person the pet they wanted had been adopted already way back in January and I had updated the site that same day and several times since!
So please guys, go steady on me! If I'm just going to be subjected to nasty emails like that then I wont run this site for you all anymore or I'll name and shame you!

I got hate mail because of one of my rants on my website, which was pretty dumb because rants are about people's opinions, and they're not going to change if you send e-mails to the person arguing with them! If you want to read the e-mail it's on my website in the Hall of Shame It has swearing and references to stuff I won't mention here, so read it at your own risk!
