There's a boy in my class, we've been good friends for years. Just as friends, you know. Lately, he's been seemingly more interested in me than usual, and I think he's thinking girlfriend-boyfriend, but I'm only 11 (and he's only 12) and there is no way I'm ready for that, and besides I don't want to stop being his 'normal' friend, because I like him just the way he is. I'm too scared to talk to him about it in case I've got it wrong, because there will be nothing that gets us laughed at more and I don't want to do that to a good friend any more than I want to do that to myself. Besides, he'd probably freak and pull away, or else pretend it wasn't going on and pull away. I'm between a rock and a hard place, because I can't come clean, but his weird behaviour is jepaordising our friendship. WHAT DO I DO? ?

Just keep it friendly at the moment! I'm 14 and still boyfriend-less. Try being naive about his sudden strange behavior and he might just back off a little. It has worked for me in the past! Hope it helps! ~Luv Tahnee.
