If you are going to post up petz for adoption here then there are just a few rules I would like you all to follow to make the forum run smoothly!
1: When creating a thread make the title as specific as possible. For example 'Litter of Grey Houla Dalis'. This will let people know what you are offering and if it doesn't interest them then they can avoid it. If you just named it 'Dali Litter' people may waste timing clicking on it when it maybe doesn't interest them, or maybe the title will uninterest people that might actually be interested if they knew exactly what you were offering. If you are offering mixed breed pets then in the title, list the breed which is most visible. For example you have mixed breed cats that look mostly like Calicos, in the title you would put 'Calico Mixies'.
2: Include all necessary details about the petz. File sizes would be appreciated as some people do not like to adopt petz with large file sizes. Any extra breed files needed should be stated and if possible a link to where they can be downloaded. Any extra information you wish to inlude is always appreciated. If they are trades only then please state. Remember to include all rules you wish people to follow if they adopt from you, this can include your show prefix, adoption limits etc.
3: Don't forget your adoption form if you require people to fill one out to adopt one of your petz. For example:
Your Name:
Email:
Petz Name:
Why/Trade:
4: If you do adopt from someone who is adverting petz here then you MUST make sure you follow their rules. If they ask you to fill in a form then do so. Don't copy other peoples forms, if they post a nice long reason why they want to adopt a certain pet then don't copy it... be imaginative.. write your own!
5: If you are offering petz to be adopted then fdon't forget to mark off which have been adopted every so often.
6: If you are offering to hex a number of petz to people who would like one then state the number of petz you are willing to hex along with extra info, your adoption form.
And guys.. please post pictures of the petz! People won't adopt if they cannot see what they look like. If you aren't sure how to post pictures up then there are threads on how to do so in the Forum help section.
I think that's about it, happy adopting!
