Deleting Posts.. Why?

I'm sure you guys have been seeing posts with a lock on the message icon. You cannot reply to these posts. We moderators, and Administrator, can lock posts so no on else can post on them due to breaking rules, or if they are old.

Hmm.. I hope that made sense. I will be locking posts that I feel are really old. I will keep them locked for a day or so, and then deleate them. If one of your posts are locked, and you still want it to be there.. please private message me.



If your post is old and you don't want it to be locked, try bumping it up, or adding something onto your reply.

I am not trying to be mean at all - I just wanted to say this to make it clear to you guys that I'm not on an evil rage out to lock & deleate your posts.

So, If you just happen to stumble upon a topic with a lock, and that has no response.. It was probably locked by my self, due to it's age.

I'm going to make a sticky topic about the moderator's functions so everyone is clear on this. If your topic is locked and you don't think it should be, instead of making a new thread, please PM me. I don't bite, and if you are keeping an eye on the topic I'll unlock it and bump it.

There are plenty of posts on this forum that are old. As in from last year. There are also people who are going around posting replies to all these ancient solved problems and unsolvable problems posted by people who have either forgotten they posted it or left the forum. Can you please check the date on these topics before you post them? The other mods and I will be going around locking these ancient posts. If your post is locked and you are still watching it, don't create a new post and further clutter the forum. Just PM one of us. We won't ban you because you dared to tell us we were mistaken in locking a thread. We can unlock it and we will unlock it and bump it if you are watching it. 'bumping it' means that it goes to the top so people can see it... We will also delete posts that are pointless, problems that we know cannot be solved, and posts by people who have left the forum that provide no real answers to questions.
